Interface for objects that can generate a LaneBasedGtuCharacteristics object. This interface adds beyond Generator<LaneBasedGtuCharacteristics> that the underlying implementation can throw a GtuException.

Generate a LaneBasedGtuCharacteristics object.

Returns:

LaneBasedGtuCharacteristics

Throws:

ProbabilityException - when the generator is improperly configured

org.opentrafficsim.base.parameters.ParameterException - in case of a parameter problem.

GtuException - if strategical planner cannot be created
